What kind of project are you licensing for?

Please read the following to determine the type of Music License you will need.

Wedding

Online streaming and external use in Wedding short film, trailer, or event video. Allows up to 15 resalable external copies and 500 giveaway copies.

Permitted Uses: You are creating a film or slideshow that covers the wedding day of a couple.

Non-Permitted Uses: This is not the right license for you if you are creating a film or slideshow to promote a business related to the event. For example, a promotional film for an event designer, a venue, the florist, etc. 

Number of Uses: Single Use, 5 Uses // Depending on License Purchase

Distribution: Online and DVD

Slideshow

Single use for an individual or family in a personal life event film. For use in personal accounts on User Generated Content sites (Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook, etc.) and at home.

Permitted Uses: You are creating a film or slideshow for yourself or family only, and there are no business ties whatsoever.

Non-Permitted Uses: This license is not the right license for you if you are being paid, making money, or anticipating growing any business from the film or slideshow, or if it highlights any company, product, or service.

Number of Uses: Single Use, 5 Uses // Depending on License Purchase

Distribution: Online and DVD

Personal Use

Single use for an individual or family in a personal life event film, for example, birthdays, holidays, graduations, etc. For use in personal accounts on User Generated Content sites (Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook, etc.) and at home.

Permitted Uses: You are creating a film or slideshow for yourself or family only, and there are no business ties whatsoever.

Non-Permitted Uses: This license is not the right license for you if you are being paid, making money, or anticipating growing any business from the film or slideshow, or if it highlights any company, product, or service.

Number of Uses: Single Use, 5 Uses // Depending on License Purchase

Distribution: Online and DVD

Indie Film

Single use in a short or full-length film. Choose from the following options: streaming use, festival entry, wide release, and/or trailer based on film budget.

Permitted Uses: You are creating an independent film that will be shown only in Film Festivals, not in a major motion picture.

Non-Permitted Uses: Your film has been picked up for distribution, or will be shown outside the confines of a Film Festival. Also, we can certainly help with scoring, whether it is one song or an entire soundtrack.

Number of Uses: Single Use

Distribution: Online and Film Festival Screening

Promotional / Advertising

Single use in a project promoting a brand, product, service, company, organization, promotion, or event, including calls to action and fundraising. This license does not include paid advertising, where media is paid to air your project.

Programing / Content

Single use in a short film, film, single episode of a Web/TV/Other series, for example, a TV show, YouTube Channel, online series, podcast, etc.

Crowdfunding

Single online streaming use in a crowdfunding video, promoting a brand, product, service, company, organization, promotion, or event on a crowdfunding platform only, for example, IndieGoGo, Kickstarter, etc.

***All licenses EXCLUDE the right to use any of Ryann Darling's original songs to create or post a Lyric Video on any platform, including Youtube. Any videos used for this purpose can and will be claimed under Content ID for Ryann Darling LLC.
